Blue Leaf Studios, a new face and name to an existing entity whose presence was made in late 2005.
I'm Jason, the Owner and Producer. I have been working with 3D Graphics since 1996 when I got my start in Achitectural Design and Mechanical Engineering while attending The Glenn A Hare Occupational (Vocational Training) Center in Reno NV.
Working with AutoCAD R7 to start the show and evolving on up into 3D Studio MAX (now 3ds Max).
I adopted working with 3D CGI Modelling and Animation in The mid-summer of 1998 and spent approximately 5 years traveling back and forth to San Jose and Los Angeles touring Studio Facilities, meeting extremely talented Film Effect Artists, and gaining one on one production training from these amazing people first-hand. Facets include: 3D Modelling, 2D & 3D Film Composition, Broadcast Motion Graphics and Character Generation, Advanced Motion and Camera Tracking Techniques, Video Post Production and Studio Facility Setup and Management.
Beginning 2002, I started Teaching (as a part time Instructor) at the Truckee Meadows Community College here in Reno; where I taught Beginners and Advanced level classes each year spanning a 3 year total. Shortly after, I started working freelance as an Independant Contractor providing 3D Logo Treatments, Scene Animations and Special Effects for Broadcast Television Commercials, Independant Film(s), Tradeshows, Product Demonstrations and more...
After being involved and making an unwaivering dedication out of Media Creation and Film Specials Effects, my specific talents have brought me to the conclusion of turning what is otherwise simply a passion, into a full fledged business platform. Giving rise to the notion and desire to make this a reality, Blue Leaf Studios was born. Quietly, I have been fostering the image and carefully planning its inception with the intention of unleashing a Full-Service Film Production facility in the hopes of someday rivalling even the biggest names in the Film Industry!
Tempered by experience, and built on a solid foundation of persistent awareness to the evolutions of the Industry itself, Blue Leaf Studios is dedicated to providing quality service and quality product(s) to all levels of media and Clientele.
